This Wordless Wednesday will not be wordless. I would like to wish everyone a Happy Holidays! Most specifically, Merry Christmas! The kids are off school, Jesus’ birthday is only 3 days away, and I am getting antsy (like a little kid). I still have so much to do and so much planned. I will be taking a Christmas break from blogging. I shall enjoy my family, as you shall enjoy yours. A week or so will do my brain some good and give me plenty of good stuff to talk about!

I leave you (for a week) with a “Wordless Wednesday” picture. Again, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday to our sweet, dear Jesus, and many blessings to you and yours. :)

On this day, 14 years ago, I gave birth to my first child. Ashley Nicole.

She is a beautiful, smart, talented, young girl who brings a smile to my face daily. Here is a picture journey of Ashley so far…

Spring 2010

I'm so glad that God brought you into my life. I love you. Love, Mama

Ahh it’s Thursday again. Really? That much closer to Christmas. It doesn’t even seem possible. I always have so many things to be thankful for.

* I am thankful for God, my children, my family, Jake, and my friends.

* I am thankful for the mouse that Caiden pulled out from under the door of the storage closet (by it’s tail). It gave him a little dose of reality and hopefully he will not pull on foreign objects again in the near future. ;)

Eeeeeekkkk!!!

* I am thankful for getting the “Spirit of Christmas” back into my soul. I was a crab apple for a couple weeks. But I’m baaaaaack and better than ever.

* I am thankful for music. This week especially, Kay’s choir concert.

She's on the very right in the red.

* I am thankful for my brother being home for the holidays. Some people can’t say that much.

WMS Loud & Proud choir had everyone in the audience stand if they have served or have had anyone that has served. We all got a round of applause. Afterwards, they said that eventually they would like to say this to ALL of our troops.  God bless those away from home this holiday season.

Uncle Randy, Kay sang this for you last night….

* I am thankful for my job. It has been pretty good for me this week. I’ve been trying to get the bills paid so that I can Christmas shop. Almost there. ;)

* I am thankful for all of the products that are making my house smell so delicious. Yes, PartyLite. They will be distributed to their homes within the next couple of days.

Can I keep them all? No? Ok. *sigh*

* I am thankful for the reminder to “always watch what you are doing”. I gracefully busted my butt on the ice going to my car the other day. It woke me up, that’s for sure.

* And I am thankful for silent nights. My sanity once the kids are sleeping.

In German first……
