Our cupcakes before icing....

I heard this song the other day on the radio. I thought the lyrics were awesome for what I want my kiddos to think of themselves. Especially in this crazy world. That was, until I read the real name of the song and watched the video. I love Pink and the messages she gives in her music. But this one is for adult eyes and ears, if it’s not the radio edited version.

The lyrics that I want my kids to grasp…

“Pretty, pretty please
Don’t you ever, ever feel
Like you’re less than,
Less than perfect.

Pretty, pretty please
If you ever, ever feel
Like you’re nothin’
You are perfect to me.
You’re so mean
When you talk
About yourself, you were wrong.                                                                                                                                                                   Change the voices in your head
Make them like you instead.”
